new to the dating world, please help!?
Ok I was married for 11 years and now we been separated for 6months and I met a guy, we met about a month and a half ago we talked on the phone and texted for 4 days before we decided to hang out again. Well since that first night we been hanging out every night for a month he has went out with his friends twice but texts me 99% of the time he was out. He told me he wanted to be more than friends (not talking about sex here at all were both going through a divorce with kids and all that so we know sex is not whats important now) My question, hes been talking to another girl he gave her his number and everything I know they text sometimes but that’s all I know and I know he met her off a singles site, But should I be upset or say anything about it? He still has a singles ad up he never said he didn’t but he still gets on it. I just don’t want to jump the gun but I don’t know Im new to this but I think we have something good the way things happen with us its just perfect, Im thinking nothing is perfect and Im being dumb putting my time into him. so any help would be great cause I want to forget about it and hope its nothing but I did that for 11years!
Im divorced because he cheated on me so many times, he did not want to hold a job, a bar was his life not his wife and kids… I been mom and dad since day 1 of having kids so who you like I could careless do not judge me for tring to be happy when all I do is work and care for my kids unlike their father.
A MAN: your right, he is here all the time and he said he puts me first and all that and I belive him and I just need to chill out, lol I just wasent looking for a realtionship and mr perfect just popped in from nowhere.
First of all, I don’t really like you because you are divorced but don’t get me wrong this is just me, I just don’t like divorce couples! But I will try to help!
So it looks like this guy likes you and then is seeing another girl now! Well it seems to me that he is over you, or maybe he still likes you just using the other girl as a backup plan incase you reject him! So I guess try to talk to him about it… Communication is the key to everything!
Good Luck!

You guys don’t sound so serious so don’t make much of a big deal about it. If it hurts you just blow it off. He’s the idiot that had to use a computer to get a gf.

Hope it helps

You have only contact him so far, and he is free to do what he wants just as you are free to pursue guys too. The actual dating keeps your tabs on him and what he is doing. If he wants a relationship he shows you by the inclusive rule* unless he mentions something you don’t like or feel he will honor your putting time as you call it. You decide what works for you before moving too far into this situation. That way you know how much interest there is so the answer is more than lip service. It shows he has moved away from her and closer to you. Fair is meaning fair enough. (Inclusive rule* in relationships is one guy=one gal and if someone else jumps in the relationship is technically over. Everyone resumes on their own or with some one else)

He’s a guy going thru a separation and is dating again. He really likes you but keeping his options open. Very typical for someone coming out of a relationship. I was in a 9 year committed relationship and when I got out of it, I started dating and was in your situation. Then I met my wife on there but even though I knew she was special, I didn’t sign of the dating site for a couple months. We saw each other all the time but I needed some time. I even went on a couple dates during the first few months we were together. Nothing serious just one or two dates. Then one day she told me, we’ve been together for a while now and spend all our time together. I have a problem if your still going to date people. I agreed that it wasn’t fair, I signed myself off of the dating site and never thought about dating anyone else. I married her a year later. Looking back, I didn’t want another girl. I just needed some time before I committed again. But thats being said I understand that even though you don’t want a committed relationship, you don’t want to give someone all of your time and effort if they are not taking it serious and not giving you all they have. I would give it a little more time. A montha and a half is not that long. In a couple months if it’s the same situation then at that point you have a right to be exclusive. It doesn’t have to be a huge commitment but he shouldn’t be sharing his time with another women if he wants you around.
